Animal X is a Romanian Band. Its three members are known as Şopârlă ("Lizard", Alexandru Sebastian Salaman), Hienă ("Hyena", Şerban Miron Copot) and Vierme ("Worm", Mihai Laurenţiu Penca). The band was founded in 1999 under the direction of Laurentiu Duţă of 3 Sud Est; their very first single, N-am crezut, was a smash hit on the Romanian market. They followed up with more hits such as Iubirea mea, Pentru ea, Lumea viselor, Să pot ierta, and others. All three members are excellent break dancers and break dancing features prominently in their video clips.
